M38, M38A1 use 3" for front bumper, 6" for sides and front fenders, 15" or 20" for hood.

M151 use 3" for front bumper, 6" for sides and front fenders, 12" or 16" for hood.

Other M-Series vehicles use various sizes, 16" for doors and 20 " for hood most common.
